Please test with dev-libs/efl-1.20.7, if this issue still exists

Unfortunately, both my laptop and desktop systems broke. I am running off a single ancient P4 system and I'm not using Gentoo because I don't have the compute power. 
I will return.
Any resolution you choose is fine by me until I can prove the bug is still present.
But until then, thanks for all the fish!

Closing as this version isn't present in portage tree anymore. 

But for future reference, I think 'eet' use flag should be forced on since every application that uses efl requires it. As in, remove use flag and make it non-optional.

(Im not sure if there are reasons for headless systems to use [-eet] though)
