why that version and not a newer one? Dear Maintainer (or who is mainly involved in this stable request), This is an auto-generated message that will move the current component to the new component Stabilization. To ensure that the stabilization will proceed correctly, please fill the fields "Atoms to stabilize" and "Runtime testing required" as described here: https://archives.gentoo.org/gentoo-dev/message/4b2ef0e9aa7588224b8ae799c5fe31fa I have recently been working with both of the branches in the portage and I can say that it is not stable. 2.1.0 crashes with slight movement and 1.4.3 does as well, not as frequent as 2.1.0 though. now that the blocker is gone, we could maybe reconsider if we want any of the versions stabilized finally :/ I have not been using OpenShot a lot… Kete and Bertrand, do you think that one of the 2.x versions is ready for stabilisation? I am emerging the new 2.2.0 version to see if it is any better than 2.1. I'll try to reproduce one of my videos using it. With 2.1 you cannot even drag a media to it without crashing. Although there are a few glitches in 2.2, it is actually the best of all versions and it has been the most robust in my testing. I believe this version can be stabilized. Thanks, sounds good to me. Paco, can you do it? Would you like me to make a PR? An automated check of this bug failed - repoman reported dependency errors (41 lines truncated):
