There is geany-plugins-1.28 yet.

There is trouble if you don't restrict geany to the lower geany-plugins -version (package.mask >=dev-util/geany-1.27). IIRC you loose your session-tabs due to geany-1.27 plus geany-1.26 conflict.

Please update the ebuild.
