Probably misconfiguration, I had proxy_balancer module specified in my make.conf. Reopening, the proxy_balancer module support is manifested, thus it shouldn't be broken. Addition of slotmem_shm module to my make.conf seems to resolve the issue. It was probably removed from the base profile. I don't know why it was removed, so feel free to reopen if you think it's bug. I encounterd the same problem while trying to install www-app/owncloud. Updating APACHE2_MODULES in /etc/portage/make.conf resolved the problem. This is informational only. I suspect this isn't a bug in the usual sense. Rather, it's probably an historical artifact dating to when APACHE2_MODULES was added to make.conf. At that time, I believe that not setting APACHE2_MODULES in make.conf resulted in apache attempting to install all possible compatible modules. APACHE2_MODULES was supposed to be set to restrict the list of installed modules to ones you actually needed. From what I can tell, this is no longer true. The list of apache modules to install if APACHE2_MODUELS isn't set in make.conf is much more minimal than I expected. Therefore, manually adding 'slotmem_shm' to APACHE2_MODULES in make.conf is probably simplest all around. |
