Is there a reason you are building 45.0_beta10 when 45.0 is released and available in ::gentoo? (In reply to Ben Kohler from comment #1) > Is there a reason you are building 45.0_beta10 when 45.0 is released and > available in ::gentoo? QT5 toolkit support is experimental and so it's only available on mozilla-overlay. I haven't bumped the ebuilds on mozilla-overlay yet; it's in-progress and should be done in a couple of hours after I try and verify this build failure. This attachment seems to be "emerge --info" output from a build of firefox-36.8.1 (In reply to Ben Kohler from comment #1) > Is there a reason you are building 45.0_beta10 when 45.0 is released and > available in ::gentoo? Sorry, latest sync was a few hours before 45.0 made it into the tree: > Timestamp of repository gentoo: Wed, 09 Mar 2016 13:15:01 +0000 > www-client/firefox: bump to 45.0 for security, make ebuild and eclasses EAPI6 > Ian Stakenvicius, 09 Mar 15:54, commit d8d4ffd6 Created attachment 427910 [details] build.log.bz2 of failing www-client/firefox-45.0_beta1[qt5] build (In reply to Ian Stakenvicius from comment #3) > This attachment seems to be "emerge --info" output from a build of > firefox-36.8.1 Sorry about that - messed up the files here. Updated the attachments. OK, so I haven't found the solution to this particular build issue. I did however find at least one other compilation issue. Given qt5 support isn't a priority upstream, this will likely take some time to solve. Leaving the bug open until I can find solutions. If you feel I have closed your bug and it is still a current issue, please reopen and update it completely. We will not work bugs that have no ebuild in tree any longer or can not be reproduced with a current system. Thank You for your support and understanding The Mozilla Team |
