gst-plugins-xvid-0.8.3.ebuild
Bump to the latest gst-plugins-0.8.3.

gst-plugins-xvid-0.8.8.ebuild
ebuild file for the latest stable release at the time (0.8.8). Please add
additional keywords for your platform. I believe it should be part of portage
and be properly maintained if gstreamer is to be versatile as a multimedia
framework.

gst-plugins-xvid-0.8.10.ebuild
ebuild for the bleeding edge stable release of gst-plugins/gstreamer (0.8.10).
Pleaes add additional keywords for your platform. Refer to above about how
this is not in portage (yet).
Is there a need when gst-ffmpeg handles xvid? (In reply to comment #5) > Is there a need when gst-ffmpeg handles xvid? > I find a need for it. I'm just placing it up here if anyone else has a need for it. If I need just the xvid plugin out of gst-plugins instead of using ffmpeg, that ought to be my choice. I just do not know why nobody else would want to place this into portage. If they deem it as not needed, they ought to at least close the bug with the appropriate reason, instead of leaving this piece here sitting, idling, rotting. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 190800 *** |
