Please provide emerge --info, this ebuild is most likely not coming from the official portage tree as there is no such ebuild there. We killed gnome-screensaver long time ago :/ |
The 'ubuntu' flag, which is enabled by default, causes the gnome-screensaver to look for the key 'ubuntu-lock-on-suspend' in the settings scheme 'org.gnome.desktop.screensaver' The exact error is: $ gnome-screensaver (gnome-screensaver:15561): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.desktop.screensaver' does not contain a key named 'ubuntu-lock-on-suspend' Trace/breakpoint trap Removing the use flag allows for the screensaver to start as normal. Creating the 'ubuntu-lock-on-suspend' setting does not remedy the problem. There are no other packages with the 'ubuntu' use flag. $equery hasuse -p ubuntu * Searching for USE flag ubuntu ... $
