gno3dtet-1.6.4.ebuild
The in-game help no worky. Want to try to track down why and resubmit the ebuild? The online help doesn't seem to work, period. In perusing strace output and the source it looksl ike the application uses a generic gnome help facility to try to open its help file, but on multiple systems I have yet to see the call succeed. Not being an expert on Gnome development, I can't say why that is. The help file /does/ get installed (gno3dtet.html). The path that the application uses matches where the ebuild installs the file. Here's a cleaned ebuild that I tried out here.
Since the game doesn't seem to be maintained upstream, the in-game help doesn't work as supplied and it's gnome1 code, I'm going to mark this bug as WONTFIX. People are welcome to download the ebuild from here and put it in their local overlays if they *must* have a gnome1 3d tetris game. |
