net-misc/asterisk-spandsp_codec_g726 has been masked since 21 Jul 2010. Asterisk 1.6 and above don't need it, and it doesn't build against media-libs/spandsp for some time. Time to purge it imo.

Since this has been masked for so long, should we bother last-riting it or just remove it?

What I usually do is to update the package.mask entry and show the last rite mail giving the usual 30 days time :/

If there it no special hurry to kill this immediately, I guess it has no drawbacks over killing it directly
