Description Fab 2016-02-06 17:52:29 UTC
Hi,

While upgrading -uDN @world (a dozen of random packages), www-apps/tt-rss was upgraded from a previous version to tt-rss-20160124.

In the middle of the emerge process, I'm seeing quickly this (had to reemerge www-apps/tt-rss three times to capture the text) :

> >>> /usr/share/webapps/tt-rss/20160124/htdocs/api/index.php
> >>> /usr/share/webapps/tt-rss/20160124/htdocs/README.md
> >>> Safely unmerging already-installed instance...

The :
> * Remove whatever is listed above by hand
Seems to be a warning, the star is yellow.

The problem is following :
 - The files/directories listed above *and* the warning were not logged anywhere (I was expecting this was logged somewhere into /var/log/portage/elog)
 - Since the lock/ directory of the tt-rss installation was not purged, when I tried to use tt-rss, I got an error message in the browser like following :
      > "Update daemon is not running."
But, I did not get any other error in logs (webserver, tt-rss or system logs).

If your are not in front of your system and missed the warning at installation, this makes this error hard to debug.
I do not know where this warning come from (maybe app-admin/webapp-config ?), but it should be logged.

app-admin/webapp-config-1.54-r1 installed.

Thanks.
