Same problem here. Full ~x86 system. Portage 2.0.50-r9 (default-x86-2004.0, gcc-3.3.4, glibc-2.3.4.20040619-r0, 2.6.7-love8) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.7-love8 i686 AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2500+ Gentoo Base System version 1.5.1 Autoconf: sys-devel/autoconf-2.59-r4 Automake: sys-devel/automake-1.8.5-r1 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86 ~x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-xp -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -mno-push-args -maccumulate-outgoing-args -fprefetch-loop-arrays -mmmx -m3dnow" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" COMPILER="gcc3" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/mozilla/defaults/pref /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control"CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-xp -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -mno-push-args -maccumulate-outgoing-args -fprefetch-loop-arrays -mmmx -m3dnow" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs ccache sandbox" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.oregonstate.edu http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/root/local-portage/" SYNC="rsync://192.168.0.1/gentoo-portage" USE="3dnow X aalib acl acpi aim alsa audiofile avi bidi bonobo caps cjk crypt cups curl dga divx4linux dv dvd encode fastcgi fbcon flac foomaticdb freewnn gd gdbm gif gimpprint gnome gpm gtk gtk2 gtkhtml icq imagemagick imlib jabber java jikes joystick jpeg lcms ldap ldsp libg++ libwww mad matroska memlimit mikmod mjpeg mmx mng motif mozilla moznocompose moznoirc mpeg mpi msn ncurses nls nptl odbc offensive oggvorbis opengl oscar pam pdflib perl plotutils png ppds prelude python quicktime readline ruby samba sasl scanner sdl slang snmp speex spell sse ssl szip tcltk tcpd tetex theora tiff truetype unicode usb videos wmf wxwindows x86 xml xml2 xmms xosd xv xvid yahoo zlib" Comment out line 55 in /usr/X11R6/include/GL/gl.h which reads: #include "GL/glext.h" This is a crude hack, but it works. From the configure-log I gathered that there was some kind of typedef conflict, and simply removing a redundant include (glext.h should be included manually by the programmer, AFAIK) should not be a problem. Works for me. x11 team: any thoughts on the gl include business? What version of opengl-update do you have? What opengl profile are you using? What version of xorg-x11? xine-lib rc5 is now obsoleted, do you still experiencing problems? Please test provide the results of the given test requests by the developers. Thanks for reporting and using Gentoo! |
