0.9.3 is horribly outdated. do you have the same problems with 0.9.4? I'll have to look into it, but when the problem persists (and this is not the only bug report) and there are not too much dependencies, it _may_ be removed, since >Development of MySQLGUI has been suspended. Our current development efforts are >directed towards the development of MySQL Administrator and MySQL Query Browser. *from: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/other/mysqlcc.html Confirmed in both v0.9.3 and v0.9.4. There is also an existing upstream bug report at http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=2775 Excuse me mysql team, but I close this bug, since you're not reachable and the metadata file says it's kde-other stuff. bug 60745 for reference mysqlcc (and, as it happens mysql-administrator) seem to be pathologically closely linked with your mysql. Every time I update mysql (or even sometimes go from e.g. -r1 to -r2) both clients bomb out with 'Segmentation fault' on the commandline when I try to use them. (mysqlcc bombs out before it has displayed a window if you update qt). My two pennysworth is try re-emerging mysqlcc, and see if that works for you. You may, of course, already have done this, but as it didn't say so in your report, I thought I'd pass on what works for me. ymmv |
