Bug 57260 – rsync3.ro.gentoo.org connection refused

Please take rsync3.ro out of rsync.ro.gentoo.org rotation. At the present I cannot connect to it anymore (connection refused), but when it worked it was functioning at ridiculous speeds (20 times slower than rsync1 and rsync2).

I mention that I'm the administrator of rsync[12].ro and both of them are fully functional. There is no need of the third rsync server.

Works for me, and decently fast. Might have just been a temporary network hiccup.

The connection refused might be temporary, but the speed is damn low.
Have you tried rsync1 or rsync2 to see the difference? Tbese have pretty decent speeds:
 ---rsync2---
wrote 282553 bytes  read 11110722 bytes  29942.90 bytes/sec
total size is 73085549  speedup is 6.41
 ---rsync3---
wrote 18525 bytes  read 2613071 bytes  8262.47 bytes/sec
total size is 73085371  speedup is 27.77

Please reconsider. It isn't in community interest to have such big diferences between rsync.ro servers. 
The administrator of this server didn't replied to my messages. I'm pretty sure this server do not have a quarter of what is declaring in its motd (AMD 1700+, 1G RAM, 100Mbit).

well, I see you will never take action so what's the point of having this bug in open state? 

I've taken the liberty of marking this bug WORKSFORME, even if I'm against such resolution.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience to rsync3.ro.gentoo.org but since my departure from that place it seems the new admin doesnt have to to comming the changes or something like that. I would like an admin to remote rsync3.ro.gentoo.org from mirrors.
