just looked at the ebuild twice and realised gentoo's only adding security patches..? the lack of cosmetic patches are whats making 400 users squid cache fart and reload at my isp.. =/ maybe reworking the ebuild to use the major diff so that squid is fully up to date may be advisable and desirable. Which patches are you refering to??? Or do you mean something needs to be written? Erm thats not really sensical.. What I mean is which patches from the list are you refering to? Or all of them? i understand your concern and can relate... do at least add the medium severity patches perhaps. the version bump would fix errorpage.c at least. any imput you have on this would be welcome as i'm still learning procedure and regulations. OK in tree, now using bug to get keyworded. Marked stable on sparc ppc stable stable on amd64 Fixed some time ago. hppa/ia64 have squid-2.5.7 stable now Closing as all have done this... |
