For example:

dev-db/mariadb/metadata.xml has <maintainer restrict="dev-db/mariadb[libressl]">
but https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/dev-db/mariadb does not reflect this nor does it echo the description related to a maintainer

We can probably do that when metadata are reworked.

I'm really stumped on a good representation for this. Just dumping whatever atoms are in there seems suboptimal. If you have any ideas, please do share.

Well, returning to the bug after 7.25 years

We currently have only one package with maintainer restriction, so not worth implementing it for now.
