kdemultimedia doesn't compile after switching to gcc 3.4.0 profile.
it exits with: 
In file included from midimanager_impl.cc:23:
midimanager_impl.h:26:22: artsmidi.h: No such file or directory


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. change profile to /usr/portage/profiles/gcc34-amd64-2004.1
2. reemerge gcc, binutils, glibc, qt, arts, glib, kdebase, kdelibs, audiofile, alsa
3. emerge kdemultimedia with USE="gstreamer flac samba slp ldap java"

Actual Results:  
emerge wasn't able to complete compilation of kdemultimedia because of 
compilation errors.

Expected Results:  
finish the compilation.

ok, this is solved - today's upgrade to 3.4.1 and fix_libtool script seemed to magically fixed that lacking header file error. no idea why, but it installed all fine today.
