![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As per the recent Council decision[1], the final deadline for herd -> project migration is 24th January 2016. If no action is taken for this herd by that time, any packages that do not have another maintainer will be reassigned to maintainer-needed. Common options include: mapping the herd to a new project, mapping it to an existing project, reassigning the packages to the herd maintainers, and reassigning to maintainer-needed. Please let me know ASAP about your intentions for this herd and I'll be happy to take care of it. 1: https://projects.gentoo.org/council/meeting-logs/20160110-summary.txt (In reply to Michael Palimaka (kensington) from comment #1) > As per the recent Council decision[1], the final deadline for herd -> > project migration is 24th January 2016. Of this 6 have no maintainers at all. app-backup/backuppc app-backup/boxbackup app-backup/cdbackup app-backup/dirvish app-backup/simplebackup app-backup/snapback2 Atm there is an email account app-backup@gentoo.org but only with robbat2 and myself on the alias. Do we wish do get these packages moved to maintainer-needed or do some more are are interest in taking part of a project 'backup'? Then we should add a project to the wiki. Thomas > 1: https://projects.gentoo.org/council/meeting-logs/20160110-summary.txt FYI, if you decide to disband the herd: I'm going to send list of herds-to-be-disbanded soon to the mls, so if someone external wants to revive them, we can rediscuss it. Got feedback from robbat2 - would like to concentrate on maintained packages and suggests disbanding the herd. In light of this I would also support disbanding. Please do it. Thanks a lot for following up. I've updated the mapping appropriately. |
