Auditing is a subproject of the security project. It's probably somewhat informative for the guys in the normal security project to watch auditing discussions take place. So, I don't really see a good reason to make a new alias. On the other hand, if you feel it's necessary for various semantic reasons, that's fine too. (In reply to Jason A. Donenfeld from comment #1) > Auditing is a subproject of the security project. I've updated the auditing subproject to reflect security-audit@g.o Might be able to use kern-sec@g.o for the kernel sec project, but this alias is currently empty (and the subproject to my knowledge defunct) Kern-sec should be merged with auditing. AFAIK, I'm the kernel security guy currently on call at Gentoo HQ. (In reply to Kristian Fiskerstrand from comment #2) > Might be able to use kern-sec@g.o for the kernel sec project, but this alias > is currently empty (and the subproject to my knowledge defunct) kern-sec@ now sends to security@, made kernel subproject uses kern-sec; /me calls it a day. |
