build.log snippets:
Makefile:6905: recipe for target 'inkview' failed
Makefile:6901: recipe for target 'inkscape' failed
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/5.3.0/../../../../lib64/libgtkmm-2.4.so: undefined reference to `Glib::ustring::ustring(std::string const&)'

My guess this bug is related to:
Bug 566328 - (libsigc++-2.6) [TRACKER] dev-libs/libsigc++-2.6 breakage

If I don't misremember people will need to rebuild world when updating to gcc5
