The same issuse ('/usr/bin/python' is not a valid symlink) seems to happen with several other packages as pyexcelerator, driconf, viewmol, exact-image, libpst and gnome-dvb-daemon. (In reply to Juergen Rose from comment #1) > The same issuse ('/usr/bin/python' is not a valid symlink) seems to happen > with several other packages as pyexcelerator, driconf, viewmol, exact-image, > libpst and gnome-dvb-daemon. One 'emerge --sync' later I could emerge again dstat-0.7.2-r1, driconf-0.9.1-r1, viewmol-2.4.1-r2, libpst-0.6.64 and gnome-dvb-daemon-0.2.10. But 'emerge -v1 pyexcelerator' still fails with "'/usr/bin/python2' is not a valid symlink" and 'emerge -v1 exact-image' fails with "Unknown SWIG preprocessor directive: manually". root@lynx:/usr/local/portage/sci-geosciences(266)# ll /usr/bin/python2 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1461 Dec 10 16:20 /usr/bin/python2* Emerging dstat-0.7.2-r1 with python-3.4 installed (and eselected) works fine for me. |
