config.log
However, /usr/lib64/pkgconfig/python-3.4.pc contains correct library name: Libs: -L${libdir} -lpython3.4m Cflags: -I${includedir}/python3.4m Looks like the configure script here doesn't use pkgconfig for this: PYTHON_LDFLAGS="-L$ac_python_libdir -lpython$ac_python_version" Same for me with python use flag. Same, can build with "USE=-python_targets_python3_4". Updating m4/ax_python_devel.m4 to latest version (http://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf-archive/ax_python_devel.html) fixes that, I have opened a pull request upstream: https://github.com/arvidn/libtorrent/pull/324 I'm guessing this should block this bug as well: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=567924 Indeed, thanks! Created attachment 419886 [details, diff] ax_python_devel.m4.patch This is a quick fix patch as of @Bernard Cafarelli upstream solution (made out of this: https://github.com/arvidn/libtorrent/commit/ecdd446ef4377d7a9a2206ce2b184a666f9f82a2 upstream commit) It can be used as portage user patch and fixes the compilation problem with =net-libs/rb_libtorrent-1.0.7 I upload it here, so users with the same problem can fix it temporary until the new upstream version of rb_libtorrent makes its way to portage or a fix for the current ebuild is released in portage... Thanks Thanks PhobosK! The Patch works. *** Bug 569600 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 570148 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** thanks. patch works Patch works here too. Thank you. I presume this fix made it to 1.0.8 so lets continue to #572508 |
