Just mask USE=rados or stabilise sys-cluster/ceph. I've keyworded net-analyzer/rrdtool-1.5.5-r1 (and dev-ruby/rrdtool-bindings-1.5.5) on alpha just now and will stabilize both in 10 days in line with this bug.
