The blender foundation has announced this version in the middle of may. it is still missing in the portage tree... because it has some bugs fixed and features added(game engine, improved noise textures, yafray stuff) this release is very interesting...

PS: according to www.blender.org 2.34 is "upcoming"...

dupe, I'll have a look on 2.34 once is released, you can find out why there isn't a blender build yet on the other bug comments
