lirc builds fine against against libftdi-0.* but fails against 1.* since the API changed.
Either lirc should be bumped (bug #515902) or libftdi slotted (as proposed in https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=503908#c1 )

I fixed this in December while I slotted libftdi.
