Created attachment 416672 [details, diff] Patch against 2.4.2 to build with octave 4.0 Octave 4.0 changes the interface and hence the octave bindings fail to compile. The attached patch is taken straight from Debian and fixes the problem. I didn't test though whether the older versions of octave already support this new interface.
