While building firefox 0.9.1 in a text console, it constantly beeps. It is *highly* annoying. I'm not sure when this happens, exactly, but it seems to be whenever a "Creating foo" message is displayed.

This is caused by the code which changes the *term title bar in X, but causes a bepp when you're on the console. This is explained in the Gentoo FAQ: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/faq.xml#beeping and on several threads on the forums.

Indeed. My mistake, sorry. Changing resolution to INVALID.
