I'm unable to reproduce, running enlightenment and the same version of xmms. Marquez: can youu try another window manager? All three windows appear when I run XMMS in TWM or Enlightenment, but the EQ is missing when running XMMS in Fluxbox-0.9.9. Can you try an earlier version of xmms for me? I emerged xmms-1.2.8-r4, xmms-1.2.9-r2, and xmms-1.2.10-r1. They all displayed the same missing EQ window as the latest ebuild. Also, If I uncheck and then recheck the Graphical EQ option then the EQ window will appear but is missing again when restarting XMMS. Can youu try a vanilla xmms version then (no gentoo patches). You can do that by editing the ebuild and changing src_unpack() to asrc_unpack() ... that is, just rename the function to something bogus so the gentoo patches don't get applied... I unmerged xmms, then I changed that line to asrc_unpack in the recent ebuild. Same behavior, no EQ when restarting xmms. I was going to try to see how xmms behaved with the stable branch of fluxbox but it's no longer in portage. ok, since this is happening with xmms vanilla, it's not gentoo specific. Can you please report it to the developers upstream (http://bugs.xmms.org) and tell me what the bug number is so I can follow it. I reported this to xmms bugzilla. The bug number is 1859 following it upstream... |
