Beware that x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers[tools] doesn't seem to install all teh files that media-video/nvidia-settings installs, leading to this error during conky's configuration: CMake Error at cmake/ConkyPlatformChecks.cmake:338 (message): Unable to find XNVCtrl library Why should I introduce a change which doesn't work? This is obviously an issue which needs to be solved for the nvidia packages first. Please try depending on x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers[tools,static-libs]. Please also test nvidia related features with conky at runtime. I can only check if it compiles as I do not own a nvidia card. I confirm that conky's nvidia functionality works when nvidia-drivers[tools,static-libs] is installed. Fixed in git. Thanks for the report. *** Bug 588622 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
