net-wireless/hostapd-2.5 has been released.

ebuild-renaming does work, when all security patched are being removed from src_configure(), as they are part of the 2.5 release, according to my knowledge.

Also support for EPOLL has been added, which should provide a better performance and support for Fast Session Transfer (FST).
