A world upgrade which was schedule over night - failed after 166 of 269 packages with :

 * Please install currently selected gcc version with USE=fortran.

/me wonders if this check could be made before @world upgrade starts ?

No we can't because we are already depending on fortran, but gcc[fortran] can be the last package build before blas, so that we cannot test it anywhere earlier then in pkg_setup of blas.
