After advice for another bug, I can boot past this freeze if I disable the second IDE channel entirely. Does this also happen on a stock kernel.org kernel with the same .config? Yes, this also happens with the stock kernel and same .config. Thanks, then this is a upstream bug, nothing we added in the gentoo kernel. Please go file this at bugzilla.kernel.org. |
