radeonsi have native vaapi support (since mesa-10.4 or so). So why do you want to use libva-vdpau-driver? See bug 549564. So how to make that native support working? I encountered the following error when trying to display gstreamer window (using gst-launch-1.0): libva info: va_getDriverName() returns -1 libva error: va_getDriverName() failed with unknown libva error,driver_name=(null) So I started digging what is missing and ended up with adding vdpau useflag and finally error changed to mentioned: libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib64/va/drivers/radeonsi_drv_video.so libva info: va_openDriver() returns -1 (In reply to Alexander Tsoy from comment #1) > radeonsi have native vaapi support (since mesa-10.4 or so). So why do you > want to use libva-vdpau-driver? See bug 549564. Exactly. I don't think we want to use libva-vdpau-driver for radeonsi since it has native support. |
