The failure actually has nothing to do with the repository configuration. The problem is that the user doesn't have write access to DISTDIR, so the distfiles can't be downloaded. We should fix it to avoid all of the chown/chgrp errors in this case. Once we've done that, it will be more obvious that DISTDIR access is the only real issue. The user can override DISTDIR with some other writable location like this: DISTDIR=$HOME/distdir repoman manifest repoman support has been removed per bug 835013. Please file a new bug (or, I suppose, reopen this one) if you feel this check is still applicable to pkgcheck and doesn't already exist. |
