The latest released version of x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati which is in the tree (7.5.0) doesn't have support for my new graphics card (Sapphire AMD R7 360). The attached patch allows to make it work in conjunction with:
- gentoo-sources-4.05 (3.18 won't work)
- x11-libs/libdrm-2.4.64 (other versions may work)
- media-libs/mesa-11.0.0_rc1 (other versions may work)

Upstream already have the change but they haven't released a version since. I would be very grateful (and probably others) if a developer could add the patch to x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati-7.5.0 to the gentoo tree :-). Thank you!
