Can you please attach full build.log? Thanks Automake 1:15 was installed after this issues and it was gone after. The problem is that libuv should require automake 1:15 in its deps. I propose to add: WANT_AUTOMAKE=1.15 to the libuv-1.7.0.ebuild. (In reply to Andrew Savchenko from comment #2) > Automake 1:15 was installed after this issues and it was gone after. > > The problem is that libuv should require automake 1:15 in its deps. > I propose to add: > > WANT_AUTOMAKE=1.15 > > to the libuv-1.7.0.ebuild. It works here with 1.15, 1.14, 1.13 and 1.12, with or without WANT_AUTOMAKE set. This rather looks like the bug lies somewhere else, especially if you look at the error message. The eclass fails at autotools_env_setup(), probably because has_version() screws up somehow. Not something to be fixed in the ebuild, at least afais. Created attachment 409222 [details]

(In reply to Amy Winston from comment #1) > Can you please attach full build.log? > > Thanks Hi, sure it is! this could be package manager dependent, since has_version is part of PMS https://dev.gentoo.org/~ulm/pms/head/pms.html#x1-12800011.3.3 It seems this was related to the broken autotools-utils.eclass... someone converted my ebuilds to use this crap. I reverted that in version bump 1.7.5, this should be gone now I think. |
