I just talked to Martin Klapetek: This package is apparently a crucial component of KDE Telepathy - without it, it will crash. Maybe you can add it to DEPEND, even if the package is still missing, to communicate this to Gentoo users? See-Also: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=351785 Confirmed by upstream. proposed ebuild
I wrote a simple ebuild for it. Dependencies are taken from qmake .pro-file. I tested it: with it and libsignon-glib installed, KTp started to recognize my Hangouts account.
