Which version of sys-devel/patch do you have? What CFLAGS did you compile it with?

supernova root # qpkg -I -v sys-devel/patch
sys-devel/patch-2.5.9 *
supernova root # cat /var/db/pkg/sys-devel/patch-2.5.9/CFLAGS
 -O2 -march=athlon-mp -pipe -DLINUX -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500
Comment 3 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-09 12:21:01 UTC
Wait, nevermind. I see 0120 getting applied in your output -- it never should. Are you running 'ebuild clean unpack' or any other ebuild sequence with clean in it? If so, insert 'setup' sometime after clean.
Comment 4 Chris Bainbridge (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-10 01:34:01 UTC
ahhhhhhhhh I never had to do that before. Sorry for the erroneous bug report.
Comment 5 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-10 01:56:33 UTC
Nah, a bunch of stuff moved into pkg_setup(), and that's why you hit it.

Reopening to dup properly.
