I have verified works for ppc64 by applying patches to this package.
Please add the ~ppc64 KEYWORDS to net-mail/fetchmail-6.2.5.

my USE Flag is "gtk2 altivec ppc64 -gnome cjk jpeg gif png tiff truetype".
