please assign to those who actually did remove the documentation I am not sure if maybe web people will have it saved at some place :/ (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #2) > I am not sure if maybe web people will have it saved at some place :/ GuideXML documents are still where they were—in the 'gentoo' CVS repo. The auto-migrated documents as per the instructions we linked multiple times when outlining the migration timeline (https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Gentoo_Wiki:Developer_Central/Project_pages#Migration_from_www.gentoo.org.2Fproj.2F) are still available as well, getting this done should be easy. You can cc www@ if you want to request a redirect from the old URL to the migrated article on the wiki, although the ebuild really should link to the proper URL. (In reply to Alex Legler from comment #3) the point was: who breaks it is who gets to fix it. Anyway... are you sure at this year do we still need to point to a guide for migrating from older tex impls? ;) (In reply to Pacho Ramos from comment #5) > Anyway... are you sure at this year do we still need to point to a guide for > migrating from older tex impls? ;) no, but iirc the guide had some troubleshooting section that helped in reducing the # of useless bugs received *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 554780 *** |
