Looks like it doesn't find manfnt.tfm which is provided by dev-texlive/texlive-basic and should be in one of the following locations: /usr/share/texmf-dist/fonts/tfm/public/misc/manfnt.tfm /usr/share/texmf-dist/fonts/tfm/public/knuth-lib/manfnt.tfm Does this file exist in your installation? Is dev-texlive/texlive-basic installed (which version?)? It should be pulled in as a dependency. And why is texlive-basic repeatedly being merged and unmerged? Created attachment 407956 [details] emerge log complete (In reply to Ulrich Müller from comment #6) > So was the package installed at the build time of feynmf? No - attached here the complete emerge.log file og that chroot image. >And why is texlive-basic repeatedly being merged and unmerged? This is related to the PreservedRebuild() of my script [1] - if there's a not easy resolvable situation, then few package(s) will be just unmerged, after that "emerge -uD @world" is called. So feynmf should forced emerge to install texlive-basic first but it doesn't ? FWIW - this is just a tinderbox image. But it it uncovered a lot of bugs in xDEPEND - so maybe here too ? I suggest that before you report bugs found such, you should reproduce them by using the package manager in a standard way. > So feynmf should forced emerge to install texlive-basic first but it doesn't > ? > > FWIW - this is just a tinderbox image. But it it uncovered a lot of bugs in > xDEPEND - so maybe here too ? Nope, dev-tex/feynmf has virtual/latex-base in DEPEND, so texlive-basic will be pulled in (even twice): dev-tex/feynmf -> virtual/latex-base -> dev-texlive/texlive-latexrecommended -> dev-texlive/texlive-latex -> dev-texlive/texlive-basic dev-tex/feynmf -> virtual/latex-base -> texlive-fontutils -> dev-texlive/texlive-basic Well, this issue is probably related to an undetected failed "emerge -uD @world" - sry for the noise. |
