Please attach your `mount` output, at least in the part referring to /etc and /var(/run).

Hhm - PEBKAC I fear

/me slapes himself
Comment 3 Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2015-07-23 20:32:09 UTC
(to be more precise) - at my chroot images I bind- mounted /etc/resolv.conf from the host onto the chroot image - not really common in the real world.

Now I changed that into "cp -L ..." into the image instead, should be sufficient for my needs)
Comment 4 Michał Górny archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2015-07-23 20:39:42 UTC
I'm going to reopen this since app-admin/g-chroot bind-mounts resolv.conf as well :). I think we need to find a better solution for this.
Comment 5 Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2015-08-13 11:40:40 UTC
yeah, I do regularly experiences this at various tinderbox chroot images :

/mnt/qa/tinderbox/amd64-13.0-unstable_20150808-101710/etc/resolv.conf -> /var/run/resolv.conf
