According to upstream, this applied to 3.4 but does not appear to be a problem with 3.16. I tested with 3.18 and it does not cause any problem either. Unable to reproduce with current versions in tree, 3.16.5 and 3.20.2. GLSA Vote: No. |
From ${URL} : It was reported that file-roller will start eating CPU and the application will freeze if a crafted .zip file opened. Upstream bug report: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=752245 There's not fix available yet. @maintainer(s): after the bump, in case we need to stabilize the package, please let us know if it is ready for the stabilization or not.
