I also experiences these freezes. Each time, the freeze seems to be triggered by scrolling quickly in Mozilla Firefox. After the freeze, the mouse cursor moves but cannot click on anything. Keyboard does not respond and I cannot kill X by CTRL-ALT-Backspace. However, I can logon remotely through SSH and kill X. I had the same problems but fixed it now. Try setting "UseInternalAGPGART" in XF86Config to "no". See also http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=197332&highlight=radeon Please reopen if that doesn't stop the problem. |
