Description Tamas Sarga 2004-06-27 15:24:02 UTC
The actual (2.6.0) libgtop doesn't contain xmalloc.h, but slmon(0.5.12) requires it.
With =libgtop-1.0.13-r2 the slmon package is emergeable.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge slmon #without libgtop package

Actual Results:
Emerge will install libgtop 2.6.0 as a dependecy and compilation of slmon will fail.

Expected Results:
Maybe slmon should depends on libgtop-1*

slmon's define.h wants to include libgtop/xmalloc.h, but it doesn't exist after
install libgtop-2.6.0

Also happens here.
Comment 2 Gary Stein 2004-09-08 18:01:44 UTC
request version bump
0.5.13 fixes this problem with no xmalloc in new libgtop

haven't seen much progress here, but slmon 5.13 and the current 5.12 ebuild
(with renaming) compiles straight out of the box
