Description Greg Hensley 2015-06-29 19:23:04 UTC
lftp-4.6.3a-autopoint.patch adds a dependency to the configure.ac script on gettext version 0.19, but lftp-4.6.3a.ebuild does not include any dependency on gettext (except requiring any version of gettext if the nls flag is enabled). Without >=gettext-0.19 installed, the emerge of lftp fails when `autopoint --force` is run during the merge.

You should have gettext 0.19 already.
Comment 2 Greg Hensley 2015-07-01 23:16:13 UTC
I see that gettext-0.19.3 was stabilized in Jan 2015 so, yes, I should have it installed already but it's clearly been a while since my system was fully updated. As it stands, package ordering puts lftp before gettext in the world update so I'm required to manually install gettext to continue the update. Does a six-month gap justify leaving build-time dependencies out of DEPENDS?
