The original poster of thig bug titled this as "multisync 0.82 no sync with Zaurus on amd64", but that's misleading. I have this same problem on my pentium for computer... it has nothing to do with the processor type. However, a google search revealed the problem of this bug: It's in the ebuild. http://www.mail-archive.com/multisync-users@lists.sourceforge.net/msg01385.html The relevant portion of that page is: > This was a problem with the Opie plugin on the initial release of 0.82 > that was fixed later that same day with a new source tarball released as > 0.82-1. > > Looks like the Gentoo ebuild you are using picked up that first version > of the 0.82 opie plugin. Suggest you report this to the package > maintainer. I would appreciate it if this is fixed. Thanks. MY_P=${PF/-r/-/}
and make the SRI use it made it work.
A patch/ebuild is mentioned in bug 48450 and bug 37928
