which USE for PyQt4? (In reply to Justin Lecher from comment #2) > which USE for PyQt4? ================================================================= Package Settings ================================================================= dev-python/PyQt4-4.11.3::gentoo was built with the following: USE="X dbus designer opengl svg -debug -declarative -doc -examples -help -kde -multimedia -phonon -script -scripttools -sql -testlib -webkit -xmlpatterns" ABI_X86="64" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7 python3_3 -python3_4" I could build veusz until I recompiled PyQt4. What changed lately? Did you just upgrade to qt-4.8.7? (In reply to Michael Palimaka (kensington) from comment #5) > Did you just upgrade to qt-4.8.7? yes, 6 days ago. So first rebuild of PyQt4 after that bump. (In reply to Michael Palimaka (kensington) from comment #5) > Did you just upgrade to qt-4.8.7? same picture in the package list ? (which contains history too) - attached here already. Created attachment 404712 [details]

Please try with sip-4.16.8 + PyQt4-4.11.4 (In reply to Davide Pesavento from comment #9) > Please try with sip-4.16.8 + PyQt4-4.11.4 emerge s fines at 2 different unstable chroot images. Closing then. Stable qt + stable pyqt4 works. Testing qt + testing pyqt4 works. Mixing stable and testing is not supported. (In reply to Davide Pesavento from comment #11) > Closing then. > Mixing stable and testing is not supported. So - shouldn't the ebuild force to merge the unstable versions of sip and PyQT ? (In reply to Toralf Förster from comment #12) > (In reply to Davide Pesavento from comment #11) > > Closing then. > > > Mixing stable and testing is not supported. > So - shouldn't the ebuild force to merge the unstable versions of sip and > PyQT ? Technically no, that wouldn't be entirely accurate as the incompatibility lies between Qt and PyQt4. However, given that a stabilization bug for veusz-1.23 has already been filed (bug 549370), and given that it depends on having the fixed PyQt4 stable anyway, due to another bug, I've raised the dependency in veusz as you suggested. 17 Jun 2015; Davide Pesavento <pesa@gentoo.org> veusz-1.23.ebuild: Raise PyQt4 dep wrt bugs #526792 and #551382. |
