It has some interesting changes over our current one:
- Adds support for Qt5
- Prevents it from messing with gnome3 (as gnome3 takes care of this without needing to rely on xinput file)

Other option is to take the latest snapshot from git as it includes this patch, more fixes and fix for bug 551058
