Interestingly enough, I *can* reproduce with Qt 4.8.7, which is the only big and related thing that changed on my test system recently... Can anyone try with Qt 4.8.6 please? I don't understand why this started failing now... Can anyone try > with Qt 4.8.6 please? I don't understand why this started failing now... That's a PyQt4 + sip problem. (In reply to Justin Lecher from comment #3) > That's a PyQt4 + sip problem. Can you elaborate? (In reply to Davide Pesavento from comment #4) > (In reply to Justin Lecher from comment #3) > > That's a PyQt4 + sip problem. > > Can you elaborate? Perhaps I was to fast, but when ever I see sip in a bug report I am reminded of the PyQt4/sip problems which there is in the build time API change lately. That's the point, sip and PyQt4 have not been touched in the past month or so... on the other hand there was the Qt 4.8.7 bump last week... just a thought... could this have anything to do with phonon? Maybe this: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-37209 ? Disclaimer: I have no clue what I'm talking about, this is just a hunch, since phonon was also recently upgraded in gx86. I doubt it, the error is completely different, and phonon is not a dep of qscintilla. (In reply to Gregory Turner from comment #7) > just a thought... could this have anything to do with phonon? Oops, I think I attached this comment to the wrong bug. Fixed in >=PyQt4-4.11.4 |
