Description Mattia Rossi 2015-05-21 11:51:43 UTC
Chrome installs, but displays the following message:

* Messages for package www-client/google-chrome-unstable-44.0.2403.4_p1:

 * CONFIG_USED_NS: is not set when it should be.
 * Please check to make sure these options are set correctly.
 * Failure to do so may cause unexpected problems.

This is weird, as there is no such configuration option in the kernel. There's a CONFIG_USER_NS though.

I don't know if this is a ebuild issue or an upstream issue though.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge =www-client/google-chrome-unstable-44.0.2403.4_p1
2. Look at the message after successful emerge
3.
Actual Results:
The following misleading message is displayed:

* Messages for package www-client/google-chrome-unstable-44.0.2403.4_p1:

 * CONFIG_USED_NS: is not set when it should be.
 * Please check to make sure these options are set correctly.
 * Failure to do so may cause unexpected problems.

Expected Results:
No message

I guess somebody made a typo somewhere..
